Alan Young, age 66, passed away February 12, 2020. Born May 22, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late John and Gloria Young. He is preceded in death by son, Robbie; brother, John; and sister, Diana Vedder. Alan is survived by wife of 47 years, Julie; son, Rich (Christina) Young; grandchildren, Josh, Emma, Nakia, Amber, and Stacey; great grandchildren, Bentley, Alice, and Zoey; brothers, Dave (Debbie), Steve (Becky), and Brian (Lisa) Young; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alan was a founder of and Scout Master for Troop 271. He was an avid Ohio State fan, golfer, and fisherman. Another passion was music, Alan loved playing guitar and listening to classic rock. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 16, from 2 to 4 pm at O. R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel 1346 S. High St. where funeral service will be held Monday at 10 am. Pastor Tim Womack officiating. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
