STEWART Bertha Miller Stewart, formerly of Athens, OH., passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Sharon Brooke Assisted Living Facility in Newark, Ohio. She previously lived in Columbus for more than fifty years and graduated from South High School, class of 1939. She was born June 29, 1920 in Hellier, KY. to James Oliver and Jessie Mildred (Poe) Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Stewart; her parents; her son, Leslie Roger Stewart; three sisters and two brothers. Survived by her son, Richard (Nancy) Stewart of Newark, Ohio; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren. Bertha retired from Kroger Company after 30 plus years. She was a member of Beacon #593 lodge of the Order of Easter Star for over fifty years. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 pm at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main Street in Groveport where the funeral service will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10 am.
