Blanche Harmon, age 71, passed away suddenly December 2, 2019. Blanche followed her brother whom recently passed November 25. Born August 13, 1948 in Matewan, WV to James and Nancy Salmons. She grew up in Delbarton, WV and after graduating from Birch High School she moved up to the Columbus area. She was passionate about music; she loved to sing and play piano and guitar. She often said singing was her calling from God. She was tender hearted; was always kind and giving. Blanche is preceded in death by her father, James and brother, Blaine Salmons. She is survived by son, Tim (Kathy) Baisden; mother, Nancy; siblings, Bonnie (Terry) Jones, Goldie (Buster) Brewster, James Salmons Jr.; and Nancy (Ralph) Alles; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, from 11 am until the time of funeral service at 1 pm at Heritage Freewill Baptist Church 575 Obetz Rd. - Columbus. Pastor Tim Stout officiating.
