Brandon Lewis Coplan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Brandon Lewis Coplan, age 33, passed away unexpectedly on October 7, 2021. He was born in September 14, 1988 in Columbus, Ohio to Rondia (Knapp) Barbee and Ray Coplan. Brandon was a graduate of Central Crossing High School. He is survived by his daughters, Makayla and Jayda Cleary and Tanner Bentley; mom, Rondia (Knapp) Barbee; brother, Shane Coplan; sisters, Jessika and Apryl Jacobs, Amanda, Kasie, and Tessa Valentine; grandparents, Corrine and Jack Ellis. Brandon is also survived by nieces and nephews: Kaiden Kraus, Brayden Marcum, and Briella Meeks; best friend and brother, Randy Scarberry; second mom, Cathy Scarberry; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Brandon is preceded in death by his grandpa, Roger Knapp; grandparents, Sharon and John Coplan; his father, Ray Coplan; step-father, Keith Jacobs and cousin, Joey Jacobs. Brandon was a huge buckeye fan and never missed a game. He also loved Halloween and all the horror that came with it. He was one of a kind and had a heart of gold. He sure will be missed. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 5 to 8 PM at O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, where funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Grove City Cemetery.
