Cris Reed, age 63, departed with her loving family by her side on the 1st of September, 2021. Cris was born in Columbus, OH on the 30th of April, 1958 to Janet and John Spriggs. Cris loved filling her days talking on the phone to her best friend, sister, cousin as the called each other. She loved playing cars and loving on her grandbabies, spending time with her family and attending her beloved church, Pathway Apostolic, of which she was a faithful member for many years. Cris is preceded in death by her parents, Janet and John Spriggs; aunt, Loretta Shaner; uncle, Donald Bland; and cousin, Cheryl Folcher. Cris is survived by her children, Holly (Jason) Hazlett and Kermit (Destiny) Reed; grandchildren, Trinitie Hazlett, Jaydin Hazlett, Jayce Hazlett, Garet Reed, and Gavin Reed; siblings, John (Vickie) Spriggs, Nicole Shanks-Spriggs, Sherry Thomas, Tony Spriggs, Shane Spriggs, Cristal Spriggs, and Angela Logsdon; niece and nephew, Heather (Nathan) Thatcher and Billy (Tina) Smith; very special cousin whom was like a sister, Pam (Bud) Schneider; cousins, Sandy (Marty) Tsuyuki, Donnie Shaner, Ray (Becky) Shaner, Mike Schneider, Jeff (Mary) Schneider, Mark Herman, Leann Hu, Jennifer Tsuyuki, Cory Tsuyuki, Jason, Justin, and Mitch Shaner, Rayanne Shane, and two very special great cousins, Samuel and Grant Schneider; and her entire church family that held a special place in her heart. Cris will be greatly missed and eternally loved by all who were blessed enough to know her. There will be a memorial service held at Pathway Apostolic Church, 1187 Brown Rd. in Columbus, OH 43223 on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 5 - 6 p.m. Pastor Dominic Foor officiating.
