Donald Ray Ball, age 62, passed away unexpectedly May 26, 2020 at his home. Don was born September 1, 1957 to his parents A. Eugene and Lillian Bragg Ball. He was a Groveport High School graduate and was a drummer in the band. Don was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Kevin O'Connor. He is survived by his son, Donny Ball, of whom he was so proud and said many times, "Donny is the best thing I ever did right in my life." Don is also survived by Donny's mother, Jennie Ignash; sisters, Linda O'Connor, Christa (Bill) Payne, and Robbie (Roger) Thacker; nephews, Doug Douridas and Dustin Thacker; niece, Cathy Pusecker; and many dear friends including lifelong friends, Captain Terry Marsh and Joey Ginnetti. Don was a animal lover, and his beloved companion was a German Shepherd called Mia. A celebration of Don's life will be held at a future date. Arrangements entrusted to WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E.
