Donald G. Doyle, age 68, passed away at home on April 8, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born on January 19, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jack Doyle and Anna Doyle-Friend. Donald was a proud United States Navy Veteran; he was also an avid camper, fisherman, and gardener. He retired from VSP this past August. He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister, Vickie L. Doyle; and brother-in-law Donald Smith He is also preceded by good friends, Ron Baer and David Sterr. He is survived by his sisters, Sue (Jim) Sullivan and Jackie Smith; step father, Dale R. (Pat) Friend; nieces: Stephanie Duty, Megan (Tyler) Maxwell, Jessica (Joe) Dean; nephews: Jimmy (Marion) Sullivan, and Scott Sullivan. Donald is also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Donald will be missed greatly by close friends: Kathy Kubic, Robert Epps, and Bill Martin. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 2 PM to 5 PM at Myers- Woodyard Funeral Home (587 Main Street Groveport, Ohio 43125). Visitation will also follow on Monday from 10 AM to 11 AM, where service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio where Naval Military Honors will be held.
