Donald E. "Donnie" Smith Jr., age 53, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023. He is a Hamilton High School graduate, class of 1989. Donnie loved race cars, softball, and sports. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald E. Smith Sr. Donnie is survived by his mother, Karen Angel; lifetime partner, Nicole Evans; children, Ashley Smith, Zane Smith, and Donald E. Smith III; granddaughter, Mia Smith; siblings, Chad Smith, Nicole Angel, Tara Angel, Megan (Tyler) Maxwell, and Stephanie (Ryan Wright) Duty;step-mother, Jackie Smith; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and family. Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
