Elaine A. Athens age 82 passed away on Wednesday April, 13, 2022 at her residence in Columbus, Ohio. Elaine was born on January 18, 1940 to the late Harry and Lillian Glazos in Chicago, Illinois Elaine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William J. Athens; daughter, Angela Athens. She is survived by her son Jon Athens; sister and brother Joanne & George Glazos; Niece Stephanie (Jason) Gamble, Oliva, Mary and Nephew John. In Leu of flowers please send contributions to Ammunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral or to the Stephanie Spielman foundation. Service will take place on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 @ 10:00 am at the Ammunication Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Father Gardikes officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
