Ethel Slone, age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 12, 2021, in Pataskala, Ohio. To celebrate her life, Ethel's service will be held at the Sunset Cemetery on Thursday, November 18, at 11 a.m. Ethel is survived by her daughter Paula Sullivan, her grandchildren Natalie (Dean) Ward, Abby (Nick) Kritikos, and Michael (Libby) Sullivan, along with many great grandchildren and special friends. She is preceded in death by her husband (Gordon Slone), parents and many siblings. Ethel was born in Langley, Kentucky on October 13, 1928, and later relocated to Columbus, Ohio where she raised her family and started a successful in-home beauty salon. After 30 successful years, Ethel hung up her cape and willingly devoted her time to helping raise her grandchildren. From driver's licenses to endless dance competitions, she spent many wonderful years selflessly ensuring they had whatever they needed, loving fiercely, and caring deeply. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends, and all who knew her. The family is honoring Ethel's memory with a contribution to Meals on Wheels in lieu of flowers.
