Fred Jordan, age 68, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Member of Hood Fork United Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Matthew and Florence Jordan, brothers Warren, Hansel, Ben, Naman and Kenneth Jordan. Survived by wife of 40 years, Carolyn Jordan; son, Joseph Jordan; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held Friday 5-8 pm. at O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St. Additional visitation will be held Saturday 6-9 p.m., at Young Funeral Home, Louisa, Ky. Funeral service will be held at Hood Fork United Baptist Church, Sunday 1 p.m. Pastors Gene May, Harold Vance and Curt Smith officiating. Interment Sparks Cemetery.
