George Fannin Jr., age 90, passed away on November 26, 2018. He was born October 12, 1928 to the late George and Tennie Fannin in Denton, KY. Retired from Owens Illinois after 37 years. A longtime member of the Columbus Christian Baptist Church. He preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Hazel, daughter, JoAnn Fannin, and grandson, Chad Fortner. Survived by sons, Stephen F. (Gail) and Samuel David (Neva) Fannin; daughter, Brenda Louise (Ronald) Heimann; 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brother, Earl (Loretta) Fannin; dear friends and other family. Visitation will be at O. R. WOODYARD CO, 1346 S. High St., on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be at the Columbus First Christian Baptist Church, 4185 Parsons Ave on Friday, November 30 at 10 AM.
