Harlin E. Nierman, age 78, passed away on July 18, 2016. Born December 17, 1937 in Welch, WV to the late Tamplin and Lucille Nierman. Harlin retired from The Columbus Dispatch as a journeyman pressman. Longtime member of Grove City Church of God. He is preceded in death by 10 year old son, David Nierman; and brothers, William and Sheldon Nierman. Harlin is survived by wife of 58 years, Edna Nierman, children, Brian (Tina) Nierman, Greg (Karen) Nierman, Jeff (Pam) Nierman, Kathy Humphrey, and Lisa Nierman; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Randall, Richard, Charles and Rowland Nierman; sisters, Jackie Coleman, Pat Cook, and Marie Worthington; his beloved dog, Daisy; and a host of other friends and relatives. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at O. R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel 1346 S. High St. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 10:00 am at the Grove City Church of God 4325 Harrisburg Pike, with Pastor Randy Barr officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
