Irene Kinney was born on July 10, 1937 to the late Halsey and King Ford in Shelbiana, Kentucky. Irene eventually settled in Columbus, where she raised her family. She was a loving mother, and lived her life closely to God. She loved listening to country music, dancing her heart out, and her favorite colors were pink and white, she specifically loved roses as well. Most importantly, Irene had a feisty personality, but a heart of gold. She always gave you a place to stay, and a meal to eat. Irene is preceded in death by her son Larry. She is survived by her children: Kathy, Dennis, Eugene, and Paul; 9 Grandchildren, and over 20 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 5-7 PM at O.R. WOODYARD SOUTH CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street, 43207. At 7 PM, you are invited up to share a memory of Irene and say a prayer. On Friday, Irene will lay to rest in her families plot in RH Ratliff Cemetery, at 1:30 PM in Shelbiana, Kentucky. If you plan to attend, please wear a mask.
