Jeannie L. LoBell-Wogaman, age 71 passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 30, 2022. She was born on May 11, 1950 in Boston Massachusetts to the late Jean and Norman LoBell. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jim Wogaman (2016) and brothers, Jack Evans and Norman LoBell. Jeannie had a passion for reading and education. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University before receiving a Masters Degree in Health Administration from Central Michigan University. Jeannie had a love for cats and had several throughout her lifetime. She was a longtime resident of Mayfair Village Retirement Center, where she was known for her cats, freshly painted nails and always having her hair done. Jeannie was also a longtime member of Congregation Beth Tikvah (Worthington, Ohio). Jeannie is survived by her younger sister, Hazel (Sykes), numerous nieces and nephews, her son, James Ashenhurst, Daughter-in-law Andrea (Ashenhurst) and was affectionately known as “Bubbe” to her grandchildren, Audrey (Ashenhurst), Alaina (Ashenhurst) and Olivia (Wogaman). A small memorial service will be officiated by Rabbi Kellner at O.R. Woodyard, 2990 Bethel Rd., Columbus, OH 43220 on Wednesday, May 18th at 10:30am.
