Karen Lynnette Hunt, age 57, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022. Karen was born November 14, 1964 in Columbus, OH. Karen served as a Registered Nurse for Nationwide Children's Hospital for 10 years. She was a devoted member of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church of Columbus, Overseer Michael D. Reeves, Pastor. She was a loyal fan of her alma mater, The Ohio State University. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Jr. and Geraldine "Gerri" Stern. Karen was a loving mother of three children, Marcus, Aaron (Jessica), and Valerie Hunt; siblings, Kimberly (John) Wyche and Floyd (Kay) H. Stern III; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends; beloved "grandpuppy," Charlie Hunt. Visitation for Karen will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 3161 E. 5th Avenue, in Columbus, OH. She will be laid to rest following the ceremony at Stafford Cemetery in Stafford, OH. Arrangements entrusted to the O.R. WOODYARD CO. Funeral Home. Mask are required at the church.
