Kathy D. Barch

August 30, 1951 - April 6, 2022

Kathy was born on August 30, 1951. She is survived by her brother Jeff (Ruth) Barch, her long-time life partner Jim DeVault, her aunt Thelma Long, and niece Jill (Cornell) Robertson. She is also preceded in death by her father Charles (Boxer) and mother Myrtle Barch. Kathy graduated from high school in Waverly, Ohio and immediately went to work as an operator for AT&T. She worked her way up to supervisor and retired after working many years for AT&T. Kathy was a caring person who was devoted to her mother and to Jim. Kathy also had a very close and special bond with her many pets and all other animals. She was always kind, thoughtful, helpful, and giving. Kathy loved to garden, quilt, sew, bake, and so much more. She was friendly, hardworking, and talented. She was a blessing to her family and friends. Kathy will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be conducted at Fernwood Cemetery on Tuesday, April 12th at 2:30 pm with arrangement by O. R. WOODYARD COMPANY FUNEAL HOME.
