Linda Carol Reed of Columbus Ohio peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 24, 2022. Linda was born in Dayton Ohio February 18, 1951 and raised in Sidney Ohio where we celebrate her for being the first African American Homecoming Queen at Sidney High School . In 1969 Linda moved to Bellefontaine Ohio and later relocated to Columbus Ohio in 1993. Linda’s love for people was expressed through her commitment of over 40 years as a licensed cosmetologist. She travel to many states learning and teaching the art of hair and beauty. Linda was an active member of the potters house church of god where she participated in the wrapped in love ministry and the word class. Linda is preceded in death by parents Marshall Triggs (Father) Margaret Triggs (Mother) Mary Williams (Mother) Lindsey J. Reed (Husband) Jawuan Reynolds (Grandson). Linda is survived by Deric (Lanelle) Rockhold (Son), Anitra Rockhold (Daughter) and Amberle Burnette. Kent Taylor of Indianapolis Indiana (Brother), Jackie Thomas (Sister), Florence (Kenny) Bland of Dayton Ohio. Grandchildren Darion (Taylor) Rockhold, Deion (Hailey) Rockhold, and Daeja (Blake) Floyd, Kacen Rockhold. Linda has 6 Great Grandchildren and a Host of Nieces and Nephews. And the Awesome support trio Ronda Mabra, Marilyn Sue Wilson, and Mara Saunders. Friends may call from 11 AM until time of service at 12 PM noon at Potter's House Church, 3220 Lowell Drive, Columbus, OH 43204 on Friday, July 1, 2022. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
