Lisa Ann Bakenhaster

October 25, 1963 - February 25, 2022

Lisa Ann Bakenhaster, age 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022, at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Lisa was born on October 25, 1963, on Haan Air Base in Germany, to Thomas and Jean (Collison) Seacrist. She was a 1982 graduate of Hamilton Township High School and attended Columbus State Community College for Nursing. She owned her own daycare for many years before becoming an Activities Director for a nursing home. She was loved by everyone who knew her and knew no stranger. Lisa is survived by her mother, Jean Seacrist; her daughters, Ashley Snow (Will) and Megan Bakenhaster (Derek); grandchildren, Ian and Ellie Snow; sister, Nikki Greene (Darren); brothers, Dale Seacrist (Carol), Bill Seacrist (Terry), and Robin Seacrist (Chrissy); her three beloved dachshunds, Sophie, Sydney, and Sammi; many nieces, nephews, cousins too many friends to count. Family, friends, and those whose lives Lisa touched are invited to Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 575 Obetz Road in Columbus, from 5-7pm Wednesday, March 2nd for calling hours and Thursday March 3rd at 11am for the funeral.
