Louis Manbevers, age 87, passed away on January 28, 2017. Born on June 4, 1929 in Waverly, OH to the late James and Ethel Manbevers. He attended Waverly High School and earned the rank of Sergeant First Class in the U.S. Army when he served as an engineer and medic during the Korean War. Louis worked as a Machinest for Ranco Manufacturing. He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Eloise Manbevers, and brothers and sisters. Louis is survived by daughters, Becky (Ricky) Staley and Beverley (Joe) Rangel; grandsons, Bobby Legg, Ricky (Jessica) Staley and Richie Staley; granddaughter, Elly Staley; great grandchildren, Aiden Staley, Joshua Seitter, Anndria Seitter, and Jeremy Snyder; brother, Harold Manbevers; sister, Janie; dear friend, Betty Zirkle; and many other loved ones. Visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2017, from12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM at the O.R. WOODYARD CO SOUTH CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St. Pastor Guiles Richardson officiating.
