Merle M. Murray of Columbus passed away July 15, 2021. He was born October 9, 1947 to his parents the late George and Pearl Cramblet Murray in Columbus. Merle was retired but work continuously on his collection of bicycles and vehicles. He had a passion for repair and was quite the mechanic. He is survived by his wife Virginia; son, Danny (Amy Ray) Murray and daughter, Kimberly A. (John) Mader; grandchildren, Destiny Murray, Desiree (James) Woods, Jonathan Mader, and Marcus Murray. Brother, Lawrence (Bonnie) Murray and a dear friends and neighbors, Sherry and Mike Baker. Preceded in death by nephew, David Murray. A memorial service will be held July 31, 2021 at the O. R. Woodyard Co. Funeral Home, 1346 S. High St. Friends are invited to reminise and visit from 9:30 A.M. till time of service at 11 a.m. Pastor Dave Carter officiating. Entombment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
