Minnie (Flovin) Slone age 93 passed away at her home November 23, 2021. Minnie was born December 23 1927 to her parents the late James and Nettie Flovin in Columbus, Ohio. She retired after many years with Electronics Marketing Corporation. She was a member of Capital City Church. Minnie was a loving wife, mother, and granny. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman. Also, preceded in death by siblings Loretta, Donald, Oscar Flovin. Margaret Fisher, Winnie Murdoch, and Jack Flovin. Survived by her daughters, Norma Jean (Norman) Henslee of Orient, Carolyn Dozer of Orient and Brenda Rogers of Carroll; grandchildren, Roger Henslee, Russell (Deborah) Henslee, James (Jennifer) Dozer, Cherise (Jessica) Rogers-Blose. Great grandchildren, Cole (Danielle) Henslee, Jordan (Michael) Turner, Tanner Rogers, Cadence Rogers, Emmaline Blose, Elaina Rogers-Blose. Minnie's surviving brother, Jim (JoAnne) Flovin; Great great granddaughter, Hadley Turner. Many nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends. Visitation will be held Sunday November 28th from 2 PM until 5 PM at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. FUNERAL HOME, 1346 S. High St. where funeral service will be held Monday 10:30 AM. Pastor Phil Spriggs officiating. The cemetery service and burial will be held Tuesday 1 PM at Sunset Cemetery.
