Steve Bailey, age 75, passed away on August 2, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on September 25, 1945 in Lando Mines, West Virginia to the late Riley and Pauline Bailey. He worked at Capital Manufacturing for over 30 years. Steve enjoyed his dogs, taking care of the farm, and had a passion for hunting and fishing. Steve is preceded in death by his life partner: Vivian Meadows. He is also preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his children: Jay (Brenda) Bailey of Marysville, OH; Stephanie (Joey) Baker of West Mansfield, OH; and Michael (Nicole) Bailey of Naples, FL; grandchildren: Tommy and Tiffany McConahay; Christopher, Michelle, Jersey, Michael, and Xavier Bailey; and Brandon and Breanna Bailey. He is also survived by great-grandchildren: Aubree, Brooklyn, Thomas, and Jaxtyn; as well as his sisters: Della, Nellie, and Betty. Steve also leaves behind his five dogs: Boots, Bailey, Charlotte, Suzie Q, and Chanel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel (1346 S. High St. Cols. OH, 43207) from 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
