Timothy "Tim" Vaughn

February 17, 1962 - January 17, 2022

Timothy “Tim” Vaughn died Monday, January 17, 2022, at the Kobacker House hospice in Columbus, Ohio. Tim was born on February 17, 1962, the son of Margaret Marie Tally Vaughn Thornton and the late James Dale Vaughn in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Tim graduated from St Clairsville High School in 1980, then from The Ohio State University in June 1996 with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist for Big Bear, then as floating pharmacist for Kroger in the central Ohio region. He enjoyed reading, watching science fiction, fantasy, and horror movies, playing role playing games, travelling, fishing, and learning about history. Along with his father, Tim was preceded in death by his brother Nathan (Beth) Vaughn. Surviving are his wife Jill Moody, sisters Melissa (Mick) Gregorcic and Amy (Brian) Strain, nieces and nephews Laura (Robert) Demarest, Justin (Alison) Gregorcic, Brian Strain, Tanner Strain, Haley Vaughn, Zoe Long, and Samantha Vaughn, grandnieces and nephews Isaac, Caleb, Joshua and Joanna Demarest, and Brylyn and Caliana Strain. Visitation hours will be Friday, January 21, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home, 587 Main St., Groveport Ohio, 43125, and with a service at 7 p.m. A memorial service later this spring will be announced when finalized.
