Reverend Walter Meade age 76, passed away October 20, 2015 as result of a fall. He was born October 25, 1938 to the late Luther and Ada Meade in Webb, West Virginia. He was a pastor and mentor of many, for over 50 years. Preceded in death by son, Paul W. Meade, and 8 siblings. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Helen Fearing Meade; daughter, Cindy Lacey of West Jefferson; sons, Robert Meade, Walter (Tracie) Meade Jr. of New Albany, Charles Meade of Patalaska; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Gene (Rose) Meade; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and family and dear friends. Friends may call at the Orient Independent Church of God, 11130 1/2 St Rt 62, on Sunday October 25, 2015 after 2 p.m. The funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Pastor Ed Muncy officiating.
