Obituary

May the memory of our loving brother, Alexis John Kaniaris, be eternal. Alexis was born in Lorain, Ohio on September 26, 1958, to loving parents John B. Kaniaris and Helen Kaniaris (deceased). He was a special soul. He was loved, protected and doted on by his brothers and sisters. He was a happy and inquisitive person with an infectious smile. He loved looking through his many golden books and playing cards, but most of all he enjoyed eating a piece of cake. Alexis passed away peacefully, early Friday morning on February 10, 2023, at home at the age of 64. He is survived by his brothers James Kaniaris (Helen Joan Kaniaris) of Westerville Ohio, John Kaniaris (Dali) of Cincinnati Ohio, and Peter Kaniaris (Debbie Kaniaris) of Anderson South Carolina and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his bother Thomas Kaniaris (Elizabeth Kaniaris) and sisters Magdalene Klimentiotis (Chris Klimentiotis living) and Katherine Chirakos (Tony Chirakos living). Born an innocent soul, Alexis was sent to earth to help others in their quest for salvation. His work here has been completed and he has been lifted into the arms of the savior through his own guardian angel. He is in a better place full of joy, reunited with his parents, sisters, and brother. He will be missed but is now where he belongs. May his memory be eternal.
