DAVIS Alton D. Davis, age 54, was called home suddenly after many years of illness on Sunday, November 14, 2010. Alton was currently working on his Master's Degree. Served in US Marine Corp. Member of Columbus Church of Christ. Retired from retail management. He was a story writer, sci-fi enthusiast, enjoyed old movies, weight lifting, martial arts and collected knifes and swords. Spending time with family and friends was of the utmost importance to him. Preceded in death by mother, Jewell (Davis) Preston. Alton was a very loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He leaves to cherish his loving memory father, Albert McClendon; children, Nicole Michelle Duehart, Anton Algee; sisters, Dianne McClendon- Woullard, Venicia Davis, Fredricka Davis and her son, Aaron Davis-Artis, Roberta Jewell (James) Jessie; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and host of family and friends.
