Amanda Rene Blade, age 42 of Hebron Ohio passed away on May 3rd 2026 in Newark Ohio surrounded by family and friends.

Amanda was born on April 27th 1984 in Columbus Ohio to Karen Rene Springs and David Arthur Bowen. Amanda grew up in Hebron Ohio and attended Lakewood High School where she was an All Star cheerleader. On September 30th 2023 she married Corey Devin Blade and together they built a life centered around family.

Amanda attended Knox County Career center and got certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse where she spent 20 years working in that career. She was known for her big heart, contagious smile, and loving everybody. Beyond work, Amanda was passionate for her kids, family, and helping others. She could often be found shopping, dancing, laughing and listening to all types of music. She will be remembered most for being an amazing mother to her 4 children, always being with family and friends and lighting up any room she walked into.

Amanda is survived by her husband, Corey Blade; Children, Caileigh Altman, Cameron Altman, Priya Altman and Savior White; mother, Karen Springs; brother; Cody Slone. She was a beloved Nana to Emmitt and Marley, and had many other loved ones and friends. She was proceeded in death by father, David Bowen; grandparents, Beverly Springs, James Springs, Marsha Bowen, Terry Bowen. She was loved by many aunt, uncles, cousins, friends and more

Amanda's showing will be held on Tuesday May 12th 2026 from 5pm to 8pm at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home, 7915 East Main St, Reynoldsburg Ohio. The funeral will be held on Wednesday May 13th at 1pm in Jersey Presbyterian Cemetery 12239 Morse Rd, Jersey Ohio 43062.
