Anna Louise Ross, age 86, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. She passed away at her home surrounded by her caregivers, Lisa, Linda, Marybelle, Jack and Jim as well as Tina from Mt. Carmel Hospice. Born November 18, 1925 to the late Francis and Jessie Erwin and she was raised in Glouster, OH. Preceded in death by husband of over 63 years, Norman L. Ross; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Ross; 3 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by children, Jack Ross, James Ross I, and Linda Basbagill-Burris; grandchildren, Lisa (Charles) Griffith, Kimberly Clapham-Burris, Janet (Charles) Crabtree, and James (Tanya) Ross II; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Marybelle (George) Edinger and Leota Geary; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Anna was a devoted member of Groveport Madison Christian Church. Anna spent her life in service of others, especially Jennifer. Friends may call Sunday, May 6, 2012 from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, at Madison Christian Church, 3565 Bixby Rd. in Groveport, OH. Reverend Paul Barnes officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Mt. Carmel Hospice. Anna's family would like to thank the Zangmeister Center, Drs. Moore and Zang as well as her primary care physician, Dr. Franz. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her, but we rejoice at her arrival in her new Heavenly Home.
