It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of April Marie Shaffer, age 43, who left us peacefully on March 27, 2025, in the comfort of her home. Born on April 11, 1982, in Columbus, Ohio, April lived most of her life in Grove City, Ohio with her husband and two children.

April's greatest passions were her children, Shelby and Charles Shaffer, and her beloved husband, Charles Shaffer. Her love and dedication to them were immeasurable, and she poured her heart into nurturing those closest to her. Her children were her pride, and her warmth, kindness, and care for them were the cornerstone of her life.

April was a bright and beautiful soul, whose love for flowers mirrored the beauty she brought to the lives of everyone she knew. She had an incredible ability to make those around her feel loved and appreciated, and she will be remembered for her loving nature and her joyful spirit.

She is survived by her parents, Rhonda Wickham (Dwight Davis) and Richard Hartman, and her brothers, Josh and Daniel Hartman. Along with her extended family members and friends. April leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her memory and carry her love with them.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 2025, from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at O. R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, 1346 South High Street
