Ardell Louise
Mayberry
Aug 24, 1945 — Jan 21, 2025
Ardell was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt whose faith and love were the cornerstones of her life. A pillar of her community, Ardell's kindness and unwavering spirit touched countless lives. She had a flair for fashion and décor, a coy and often flirty wit, and an energy that lit up every room she entered. Her infamous stories will be cherished by all who had the privilege of hearing them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Esther Dildine; her sisters, Erma Dildine and Betty Pennington-Rioux; her brothers, Clarence (Bub) Dildine, Seth Dildine, Windy Dildine, and Gene Dildine; as well as her beloved Yorkies, Sammy and Sophie.
Ardell is survived by her four children: Michelle (Todd) Friley of Lancaster, Kimberly (Michael) Jackson of Carroll, Rob Mayberry of Knoxville, TN, and Rodney (Kelley) Mayberry of Amanda; her cherished grandchildren: Charles (Abigail), Shane (Sydni), Mason, Cameron (Kristen), Nathan, Colby, Kaiden, and Liam; and her great-grandchildren: Elliott, Weston, Calvin, Piper, and Bryant. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother Ed (Maryann) Dildine and many nieces and nephews who adored their "Mimi."
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home, 587 Main St., Groveport, OH 43125.
