Ashley Nichole
Baldwin
Jun 15, 1989 — Jul 6, 2025
Ashley Nichole Baldwin, age 36, was called home on Sunday, July 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and spiritual light that touched countless lives. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Ashley lived in Dayton, where she dedicated herself to serving others and spreading healing through her work and gentle spirit. Ashley earned her Associate's degree in Social Work and Counseling, using her education as a foundation for her passionate advocacy for restorative justice. She believed deeply in the power of healing and second chances, working tirelessly to support those who needed hope and guidance. She was a gifted yoga instructor and meditation teacher, creating sacred spaces where others could find peace and inner strength. Ashley's greatest joy was cooking, especially for large groups of friends. She could transform any ingredient into something delicious, putting her whole heart into every dish she prepared. Even when she claimed she might "burn water in a microwave," everything she made was absolutely delicious and brought people together around her table. Ashley was the most helpful person you could know. If someone needed help and she knew how to help, she would give it without hesitation. She was prideful, courageous, and wonderfully stubborn, with a great listening ear, a long memory, and a quick wit. If she believed she could do something, she would make it happen, even if she had to teach herself how. While she could get mad, she never held grudges forever. She loved hard, and if she ever loved you, she never stopped loving you. Ashley lived fearlessly, embodying strength and invincibility like Wonder Woman herself. She was truly a wonder among the wonders of the world. Ashley was unique and authentic, never needing others' approval to follow her own path. No matter what trends or popular opinions surrounded her, she followed her own lead with confidence and grace. Though she playfully proclaimed to be "a daddy's girl," she found immense joy in her phone calls with her mom, sharing those precious moments with those she cared for. She took special pride in knowing how much her brother Robby loved her unconditionally. Ashley was a loyal friend who could be counted on through any storm, offering her presence, wisdom, and unwavering support to those she cherished. Ashley is survived by her loving parents, Rodger and Pam Baldwin; her devoted brother, Robert Baldwin; as well as her extended and chosen family. Her family was the cornerstone of her world, and she carried their love with her in all her endeavors. Visitation for Ashley will be Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
