Barbara J. Auteri, age 84, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2024. Born May 22, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harry and Stella Nisley.  She worked for General Motors and Western Electric before dedicating her time to caring for her 5 children. Barb was a person who loved the simple things in life. She was a beloved wife, loving mother and proud grandmother. She is preceded in death by two grandchildren and a sister, Linda Nisley. Barb is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Auteri; children Becky (Glenn) Blackburn, Bridget (Jack) Sims, Bonni Auteri (Jimmy Howard), Tina Auteri, and Ronald (Jennifer) Auteri; sister, Beverly (Haskel) Johnson; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, January 5 from 11:30 am until the time of funeral service at 1:30 pm at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home 587 Main St Groveport, Ohio. Friend and Pastor Ray Richards will officiate. Interment will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
