Benjamin B. King, age 83, of Columbus passed away at his residence on October 2, 2018. He was born July 10, 1935 to the late Francis and Edith King in Putnam Co., West Virginia. Ben served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War then worked many years in the construction field. He loved playing guitar, and Johnny Cash was a favorite. Ben was preceded in death by his wife, Carol; son, Steve and daughter, Kathy. Survived by sons, William B. (Christina Siders) King and Roger L. (Tammy Stewart) King; grandchildren, Mickey, Jordan, Brian, Sierra, Blane, Amanda, Taylor, Roger, Katrina, Ceta, Nathan, John, Justin, Nikita (Timmy), and Miranda; and many great grandchildren; sister, Becky; many nieces and nephews, other family and dear friends.
