Betty June. Dyer, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. Born on September 21, 1940 in Delbarton, West Virginia.  She graduated from Birch High School. Betty loved Jesus, watching church on Sundays, and her family.  She never met a stranger.  She was a wonderful cook and made delicious meals and desserts for her family.  She loved holidays and celebrations with her loved ones. She was an avid gardener, attending to her summer flowers and hydrangeas.  Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Ada Louise (Endicott) Stumbo; siblings, Ron Stumbo, William Stumbo, Rebecca Whitt and Eula Sturgeon; beloved husband, Densel Dyer; sons-in-law, Gene Gartin and Roy Workman. Survived by daughters, Sharon Workman, Christy Gartin, and Kim (Terry) Patrick; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Paige, Delores Armentrout and Patty Dotson; several nieces and nephews.  Family will receive friends at O. R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel, 1346 South High Street, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 11 am until time of funeral service at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
