Harris, Betty Jean Thayer, age 94, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 12,2024, at Monterey Health Center. Betty was born Sutton, West Virginia on August 8, 1930, and is preceded in death by husband, Asa Otis Harris; granddaughters, Tamara Haughn and Stephanie Haughn. Survived by her daughter, Sheryl (Steve) Haughn; sons, Charles Harris, Daniel (Lorraine) Harris, and John Harris; grandchildren, Maci (David) Skoczen, Ashley Chavez, and Jennifer Harris; seven great grandchildren, and many long-time friends. Betty enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children with her loving husband. She enjoyed playing cards, watching the Buckeyes play, and visiting with her friends at Melanie Manor where she resided for several years. Private graveside service and interment at Concord Cemetery. The family encourages donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
