Betty J Johnson passed away peacefully on Aug. 22nd In Ormond Beach, Fl at the age of 95. Betty was born on April 1, 1924 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Ora and Bracie Fout. Betty lived in Columbus, Ohio and worked for General Motors for 37 years where she met the love of her life, R.C. Johnson. They later moved to Holly Hill, Florida. Betty enjoyed spending her days on Daytona Beach. Betty was a sports enthusiast and loved the Ohio State Buckeyes. She enjoyed gardening, bowling and being involved with the church. She also enjoyed traveling and was able to see many countries after her retirement. She loved joking around, making people laugh and she never met a stranger. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great great grandmother. She was very proud of how many grandkids she had and would tell everyone she met. Betty is survived by her daughters, Sandy Gasho Stewart and Debbie Gasho Roberts, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 15 great great children and her dog Nick. She is preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Johnson, Son Michael Gasho and her daughter, Pamela Gasho Wagner. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, from 3 to 5 pm and 6 to 8 pm at O. R. WOODYARD SOUTH CHAPEL 1346 S. High St. where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am.
