Betty Jane Keaton, age 79, passed away April 1, 2019. Born May 12, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Louis and Rose Bargy. Betty retired from Mount Carmel West Hospital after 25 years. She was an avid volunteer and also served as historian for the American Legion. She is preceded in death by son, Edward Keaton and three siblings, Louis Bargy Jr., Julia Lunsford, and Morris Lee Bargy; and previous spouse, Ora Keaton. Betty is survived by children, Orbetta (Bradley) Hoffman, Melody Johnson (Bruce Cadwallader), and Martin Keaton; grandchildren, Heather (Charles) Carroll, Ashlee Hoffman, Jordan Keaton, Cheyanna Keaton, and Rayven Keaton; great grandchildren, Paige (James Bass), Nick, Ryleigh, and Keaton Yount; great-great grandchildren, Jaxson and Carter J.; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 4 from 5 to 8 pm at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel 1346 S. High St. where funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery.
