Betty Lou McClure passed away Friday, January 9, 2026 at Arlington Care Center. Betty was born on December 24, 1940 to the late Jack and Cleo Bowen. She attended Cosmetology School and worked as a beautician in Pataskala, Ohio and then being part owner of Cut & Curl Salon in Etna, Ohio. Betty enjoyed painting and riding motorcycles, being a member of the Goldwing Road Riders with her husband, Bill. She was also a member of the Masonic Eastern Stars.

Betty is survived by her husband of 21 years, William Ray McClure, her son Richard "Rickie" (Tiffany); granddaughter Dalen along with her four siblings, Virginia Wheeler "Jenny," Jack T. Bowen Jr "Butch" (Beckie), Susan Maynard, Earl Bowen (Linda), sister-in-law Brenda Adkins (John), and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her sister Evelyn Smith, brothers-in-law Fred Maynard, Jim Wheeler, and Mike Smith.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 12 to 2 pm at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Service to start at 2 pm at the funeral home with Chaplain Greg Rosser, officiating. Burial follows in Pataskala Cemetery, Pataskala, Ohio.
