Betty Ann Miller (Loomis), age 80, of Columbus, OH, was called home on Friday, December 6, 2024. Betty was born May 30, 1944 in Columbus, OH to the late Leonard and Agnes Loomis. Betty loved to crochet as well as watch her favorite NASCAR Driver, Dale Earnhardt, Sr. race on Sundays. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Orville June Miller; daughter, Debra Ann Scott; siblings, Robert Loomis, John (Tootsie) Loomis, and Shirley (Ira) Muncy. Betty is survived by her daughter, Anntoinette "Toni" (Donald "Fido" Post) Scott; grandchildren, Debra Davey, Jessica Conley, Lisa (Chris) Forbes, Kenneth "Kenny" Forbes, and Travis Forbes; 29 great grandchildren, including Austin "Bubba" Freeman Forbes with whom she was very close, and Earnest "Shorty" Groce Jr., whom she raised as her "cupcake son;" siblings, Ellen Marvin, James (Luetishie) Loomis Sr., and Sue (John) Addair; beloved friend and fur-baby companion, Jeffrey; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation for Betty will be Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH. Pastor Cory Pariseau officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH. Betty's family would like to send a special thank you to her sister, Ellen, for the excellent and devoted care she provided throughout her final years.
