CONKEL Billie D. (Burchett) Conkel, age 66, of Galloway, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 20th. She was a loving wife, mother & grandmother, but most importantly, she knew and loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. Preceded in death by her son, Aaron Conkel; mother & father, Hester & William Burchett; sister & brother-in-law, Betty & Lester Tackett; brother, Danny Burchett; nephew, Richard Burchett; brother-in-law, Carl Ward. Billie is survived by her husband, Howard Conkel; daughters, Becci (Marc) Catalfina & April (Barry) Bryant; grandbabies, Kaylee (Michelle & Steve), Kaity, Isaac, Luke, Olivia (Julie sister, Helen Ward. Also, many precious nieces, nephews, family & loving friends. Billie grew up in Virgie, KY, but spent most of her life residing in Columbus, OH. She was married to Howard for 45 years and dedicated her life to loving and serving the Lord as well as being completely devoted to her family. She was a founding member of Canaan Land FWB Church in Grove City, OH. She was a true prayer warrior and spent her life teaching her family the importance of serving, loving, & glorifying the Lord. Our most precious mother will be missed, but we are grateful for God's mercy and strength. Our hearts rejoice in knowing that she is now at peace in the arms of Jesus.
