Bobbie Jean Arlene Cohen, 90, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Feb 4, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward and survived by her 4 children Mike (Christina), Lisa, Mark (Susan), Gary (Lisa), 6 grandchildren Sarah (Mike), Jon (Jisuka), Tim (Carol), Jacob (Lisa), Greg (Marta), Jennifer (Alex) and 10 great-grandchildren Noah, Isaiah, Jessica, Sammy, Illya, Evelina, Franklin, Maximillian, Gray and Ellie. Friends and family may visit on Feb 10, 2026, at Pfeifer-Woodyard Funeral Home, 7915 E. Main St, Reynoldsburg beginning at 11:00am to be followed by funeral service at 1:00pm, Mr. Dave Moore officiating. Afterwards, a Celebration of Life reception will be held at Luxe Event Center, 7821 Taylor Rd SW, Reynoldsburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.

Bobbie (aka Bobbie Jean or BJ) was the daughter of Julius and Thelma Pharr and the oldest of 7 children who have all proceeded her in death (Mike, Carl, Linda, David, Jonnie and Sharon). She was a proud 1953 graduate of South High School and was a key organizer of their high school reunions. As a teenager, Bobbie joined the workforce as a soda jerk at the Fountain Drug Store at Parsons and Innis from which she shared many fun memories. She went on to work at Federal Glass, Charles E. Merrill Publishing Co, Kiddie Korner (where she was known to many as the "Kiddie Korner Lady") and she worked at the first "big" Hallmark in Town & Country Shopping Center. She volunteered for several years as a Cub Scout Leader for each of her sons, also was a candy striper volunteer at Mt. Carmel East hospital and was involved several years with TWIG (Together with Important Goals) who did a wide variety of fundraising projects to support Children's Hospital. She was a long-time member of God's Church Worldwide and was a shining example of a Christian by always trying her best to put God and others before herself.

Bobbie had an artistic flair and enjoyed making various crafts for friends and family. She continued to stay young at heart throughout her entire 90 years and always willing to do fun and silly things with everyone, as well as being a good sport posing for goofy photo opportunities to bring laughter and smiles. She was known to be a kind, loving and thoughtful person and a role model to many. She was loved beyond words by all her family and by all the lives she has touched over the years. The pain of her loss is a small price to pay for the peace she will now have for eternity.
