Bobbie Stearns, age 79, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 31st 2024. He was born on October 16th 1944 to the late Carl and Mabel Stearns. Bobbie with his wife (Rita) of nearly 60 years raised four boys. He worked at and retired from Crane Plastics, spending his remaining years watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow and live their lives.

Bobbie is survived by his sons David (Annie) Stearns, Richard (Beth) Stearns, and Danny (Tosha) Stearns, sisters Mildred Hanes, Patricia (Bob) Wycuff, and Kim Witcher, many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and friends.

Preceded in death by wife Rita Stearns, son Bobbie Stearns, mother Mabel Stearns, father Carl Stearns, and brothers James Stearns, Charles Stearns, and Carl Clinton Stearns.

Friends and family may call from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on June 4th 2024 at the OR Woodyard Funeral Home, located at 1346 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207. The funeral service will begin at 6:00pm. Pastor Alvin Gilley officiating.

Bobbie has chosen to be cremated. His ashes will be placed with his wife in the Harrison Township Cemetery.
