On February 20th, 2024, our world lost a beautiful and selfless beam of light.  Our Mom (Bonnie Elizabeth Min)

passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.  She has been a wonderful Grandma to our kids and was able to see

two Great Grandchildren born and love on them as well. Bonnie was born in 1940 in the Chermont Road house that

she (and later her five kids) would grow up in.  She was a country girl, through and through and could ride horses and

milk cows and goats and later would have chickens, goats and even sheep on our half acre yard. She really enjoyed having

pets of all kinds as well and our Min family had everything from dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, fish and birds.

She enjoyed country music, especially Kenny Rogers, Crystal Gayle and Conway Twitty, but she was also willing to

listen to any music her kids introduced her to as well.

Her late parents were George ("Skinny") and Emma Thomas and her two older brothers George ("Gee") and

David ("Dee") preceded her in passing. She was a single Mom of five, who went to work in the coal mines in the

1970's to support her family, while her Mom, our grandma, would often babysit.  Bonnie would regularly drive over

90 minutes to arrive for midnight shift at Osage Mine in Morgantown, West Virginia and she was trained to perform

many jobs in the mine. She welcomed anyone and everyone into our home: our cousins (Doug, Shane and Nikki),

uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and friends, who often stayed and even lived with us from time to time.  She loved being a

Grandma, painting dozens of ceramics for all us for every occasion, reading (especially detective novels), playing Yahtzee

and euchre and watching the Buckeyes and Steelers play each and every week. She never stopped saying things in

Ohio Valley Pittsburgese, especially, "I love yuns, so very, very much."  She always requested extra blue cheese dressing

with every salad and enjoyed a little bit of coffee in her sugar free French Vanilla or Hazelnut creamer.  She was a master chef

of deviled eggs, blackberry pie and Hungarian pastry, which rarely ever made it to a plate once finished. Her smile and her laugh

would light up a room and her kids and grandkids inherited her quirky sense of humor. Bonnie is survived by her

five children: Kevin (Julie), Carrie Russell, Kim Mayse (Lee), Zin Jr (Tammy) and Kelli, as well as

ten grandchildren: Carson and Brody Min, Eli Russell (Kati), Emma Russell, Aaron Russell, Abby Russell (Tucker),

Avery Green (Juliette), Iris Green, Nolan Mayse and Zin Min III.  She lived to see the birth of two great grandchildren: Quinn and Solomon.

We are missing you already, Mom.  ❤️
