Bonnie Jean Parsons, age 75, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 in Springfield, OH. Bonnie was born July 23, 1949 in Columbus, OH to the late Robert and Juanita Marlowe. Bonnie taught at the Ohio State School of Cosmetology, and also worked as a beautician and childcare provider. She retired from Pacer International. Bonnie enjoyed crochet and crafting. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents and infant half brother, Paul Eugene Frazee. Bonnie is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert Allen Parsons Jr.; son, Robert Aaron Parsons; brother, Robert (Diane) Marlowe; sisters, Terry (Will) Skipper, Patty (Chuck) Black, Peggy Marlowe, Cindy (Greg) Shouck, Becky (Chris) Brush, and Kelly (Jerry) Ooten; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation for Bonnie will be Friday, October 25, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH. Jerry Ooten will officiate. Interment will follow at the Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH. In lieu of flowers, family will graciously accept contributions at the funeral home to offset her final expenses.
