Bounpheng Vathananonh

March 7, 1940 – May 19, 2023

Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma and great-grandmother--a woman who loved well and was well-loved; Bounpheng Vathananonh slipped away late evening May 19, 2023 at the age of 83.

Bounpheng was the third of eight children born March 7, 1940 to Phim and Thoum Phommasane in Saphay, Laos. She is preceded in death by her parents, one sibling, her husband of fifty-five years Souvanh and her daughter Kaikeo Khounsombath.

She is survived by her 6 children; sons: Sakhone, Xaysana, Bounpone, Khambone, Bayphone; and daughter Phetsamone, her 6 siblings brother Yim, Phong, Keenoy; sisters Sysom, Sai and Mai, and her 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral service is 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 28th at the O.R. Woodyard, 1346 S. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43207.  Cremation service to follow.
