Brandy Lynn Chapman, a fiercely loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio. She was 52 years old. Brandy was born in Columbus, Ohio, on August 24, 1973, the daughter of the late Daisy and Dallas Buzzard. Brandy is survived by her husband, Shawn Chapman; her children, Brandon (Joelle) Haun and Marley Chapman; and her grandchildren, Warren and Lucille Haun. She is also survived by her siblings: Rick (Rhonda), Angie, Christina, Danielle, Matt (Lynn), Johnetta (PJ), Christopher (Lillian), DeeWayne (Kaitlyn), Chip (Cathy), and Robert; her stepmother, Teresa; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends may attend a viewing on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the O. R. Woodyard South High Chapel, 1346 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43207. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 9:30 a.m, Reverend Scott Neville to officiate. Interment will follow the service at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway Ohio.
