Brenda Kay Jenkins, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at home in Columbus, Ohio.  Born March 6, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio to Buel Jenkins and Verna Jenkins.(LeMaster).  Brenda was a Graduate of Central High School, worked many years at McDonald's in Worthington and Goodwill.  Brenda had a love for animals especially dogs she would sneak food thru the window at work she was outgoing, happy never met a stranger , always making you laugh she had a contiguous laugh and her beautiful smile that was loved by many she was known as the aunt that loved to spoil us. She is preceded in death by parents, Buel and Verna Jenkins; sisters, Joyce Jackson and Carol Heckman; brother, Bill Jenkins; nephew, Timothy R. Horsley.  Survived by sister, Minnie Slye; brother, Donald Jenkins; many aunts uncles nieces, nephews, friends, family and Caregivers at Best of Friends Home Healthcare and special staff members, Ebony, Rosina and Jennifer and many others. Family will receive friends at O. R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 South High Street, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 5 to 8 pm., where funeral service will be held Thursday 10:30 am.  Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
