Brenda Lovell, 74, passed away on January 14, 2025, surrounded by her family in her home in Circleville, OH. Brenda was born on January 30, 1950 in Wheeling, WV. She was the oldest child of Bill and Dorothy Pahl. Brenda was a cherished mother of 2, grandmother of 4, and great-grandmother of 3. Brenda retired from City of Groveport in 2017, after she served a lengthy career in Human Resources. After retirement she worked part-time for the Madison Township Police Department. Brenda was also a planner of the Groveport Apple Butter Day which she poured a lot of pride into throwing a great event each year. Additionally, Brenda served on the board of Groveport Madison Human Needs for several years.

Brenda is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, C. David Lovell; parents, Bill and Dorothy Pahl; brother, Dean Pahl. She is survived by daughters, Michelle (Tim) Stump and Amanda Lovell; grandchildren, Justin Salzman, Tommy Pike (Shianne Clark), Felicia Stump, and Emily (Zachary) Vince; great-grandchildren, Levi Salzman, Waylon Pike, and Solomon Vince. Brenda also leaves behind the Steiner family and many other friends and loved ones who she treated like family.

A special thanks to the doctors and care team at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center who helped usher Brenda through her ALS journey – namely Dr. Elyse Everett and the angels at Ohio's Hospice.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held at Madison Christian Church 3565 Bixby Rd. Groveport OH, 43125 on Friday January 24, 2025. Brenda's family will welcome friends beginning at 4:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm. Pastor Paul Barnes officiating.
