Brenda Sue Mulkey, age 70, was called home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2022 at Doctors' West Hospital. Brenda was born in Muddy Fork, Logan, WV to the late Virgil Blaine and Drusilla Maxine (Cline) Hughes. The family moved to Kentucky when Brenda was very small and she would always consider this her home. Brenda met and married the love of her life in 1968 and they would build a home together in Columbus Ohio and walk together for the next 54 years until God led her into her sunset. Brenda was loved by many; a dedicated and cherished mother and grandmother and a believer in Christ. She had many waiting to greet her with open arms in Heaven including her mother, brothers Richard and Robert Hughes, her mother-in-law Jessie Mulkey, many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, treasured friends, and her loving son, Jason Mulkey. She is eternally and lovingly remembered and survived by her husband Harold Mulkey, her daughter Kayla (George W. II) Yates, Granddaughters Addie, Harlan, and Lenore, and grandsons George III, Arthur, and London.
